For a broad look at working with cover crops for weed control, check out a new web-based resource from the Integrated Weed Management (IWM) Resource Center.

The page, a quick list of key points, provides a toolbox of information and ideas, both in text and video form.

The title: “Cover Crops As A Weed Management Tool”.

It gives an overview of cover crop concepts and steps to take across the cover crop’s life, from determining what to plant to establishing and managing the cover crop to terminating the vegetation before planting.
